Have you heard that saying, “Buy your second rv first.” Wish we would have heard it before we bought our first, lol. We loved our first and it made us realize what we really wanted.
The Forest River Salem 29VBUD feels like it was made for us, it checked all our boxes plus more. We purchased this rig after only watching a video our salesman sent us, Forest River had just started building them and it would be a couple months before we would get it but we were good with it, it was exactly what we were looking for.
Why do we love it so much, here’s a list of some of our favorites…
*The bunkroom, this is what sold us on the 29VBUD. It has L-shaped bunks up top and underneath it has a small bench couch that folds down into a QUEEN SIZE bed, great for when guests come camping with us they have a great place to sleep.
*Lots of room in the bunkroom when the couch is up.
*Residential fridge and a pantry
*Storage closet in the bedroom
*Decent size bathroom with corner shower
*Versa-lounge sofa
*50 amp so we could add an additional ac unit
*Solid steps
*Tons of storage throughout the whole rig
*Outdoor kitchen
We love the color palette of this Salem, it’s light and bright and I love the herringbone vinyl flooring. We have done a few upgrades to make it more like home, look for a blog post coming soon talking all about them.
